MARRIED:: Shannon & David

What a beautiful wedding! We had the privilege of working with Shannon and David on their wedding reception at The Pacific Club in Newport Beach. Shannon and David are such a lovely couple and are expecting a baby girl soon. So many reasons to celebrate!

Spotted Ink designed and created the custom wedding invitations, place cards, menus, table numbers and dance floor gobo. Congratulations to the couple and soon-to-be family of three!

The day was beautifully photographed by Connie M. Chung Photography.

Pretty Hangers

How cool are these hangers? This bride used them for her bridesmaid dresses and I just love them. They are perfect for a wedding of course, but also for a baby shower...can you imagine bringing an adorable baby outfit as a gift on one of these hangers with the baby's name and a patterned ribbon?? What a fun keepsake! You can find them on esty.

Tyler's First Birthday Party

My son's first birthday party was in July and once I decided on a theme, I ran with it. There were so many little details that I want to share so this is a doozy of a post and his invitations and party were even featured on Amy Atlas' Blog today (LOVE her)!

We created the theme to be like a kids VIP picnic. All of the food (including the birthday cake!) was packaged so it could be easily put into a picnic basket. Each kid had their own blanket and basket with a little personalized sign that they could take with them as party favors. To keep with the fire truck theme, we hired a retired fire truck with two fire fighters to give kids rides around the neighborhood and had blow up Dalmatian dogs throughout.
Since Tyler already has so much, in lieu of gifts, we asked that our guests consider making a donation to CHOC, our local children's hospital. We had a great turnout and it was such a memorable day!

A special thanks to Rich Lander from Chard Photography who captured every moment perfectly!

All of the toys that we were able to donate in addition to a few hundred dollars in gift cards!
